The first steps are done and I'm quite satisfied. Dunno if she reached maximum speed every time, but reach and separation of feet looks quite fine to me. She's a bit airy sometimes while running though. Let's see what happens if I switch the tug toy and use a ball instead.

Running Contacts
So it was about time... I decided to re-train Liv's contacts and we started to train Running Contacts after Silvia Trkman's methode. This woman is such a genius and so inspirational - gotta love her and her philosophy, methodes, attitude etc. So I ordered Silvia's dvd "Running Contacts that make you smile" - it's fantastic (not only regarding contacts work) and it helped me a lot to decide whether to try RC or not. Even though there will be ups and downs, I'm really looking forward to have a lot of fun and I believe that Liv will have a blast.

My sun and my star.
Agility wouldn't be possible without my two dogs Daph and Liv. They are so special to me, giving me so much and not taking anything in return (except for time, money, food, a new vacuum cleaner,... just kidding!). Let me introduce:
Dachshund Daph,
also known as her royal Highness "Dafne Z Heneberk"
Small/Mini A1-A3, Veteran Class, BGH A-2 - retired
Dachshund Daph,

Born in November 2006 and a doxie from head to toe, means: being hoggish as hell, stubborn, noisy and absolutely adorable! No one can resist her innocent looks or when she's tilting her head with her huge chocolate brown eyes and of course, she knows it - she sure can be a cunning diva, this little one. But furthermore she is the most loyal and loving soul on this earth, the best friend one can imagine and the world's most cuddly dog (oh, her velvet fur...)!
Shetland Sheepdog Liv
or better known as Little Miss Fast n Furious "P. Live your Dreams The Pride of Rough's"
Small - A1, A2, A3 - BH-VT - Newcomer
My dream come true! Two years of age, Liv is just perfect in every way (let's ignore her way-to-high-sheltie-pitch...). Always eager to work, confident like a rock star, smart like Einstein and fast like the wind. All good things in a little package. Watch out for my little comet!
